Aerotek General Production Worker in Duluth, Georgia
Description:
Aluvision is currently looking for candidates to work in their production departments. They are looking for 2 pressers, 1 crater, and 1 picker/packer
- Crater As a shop employee you will be responsible for the assembly of crates for product shipment • You will assemble sides to pallet based on shipment size • You will cut custom wood sizes when needed with wall saw • You will cut the aluminum composite sheets for customer orders with wall saw • You will ensure shipments are packaged properly • You will assist other areas of production as needed
-Presser As a shop employee you will work with your colleagues to assemble entire products or components • You will set each profile using L brackets with adhesive and place in pressing machine • You will conduct quality inspections on products and parts prior and after assembly • You will prepare finished products for shipment
-Picker/Packer As a shop employee you will work with your colleagues to assemble entire Aluvision frames or components • Clean, velcro and package aluminum profiles • Order picking • Prepare cardboard packages to ship via FedEx or other carriers • Prepare pallets with materials for shipping

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must Have - High School Diploma or GED w/ math skills - Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields - Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment: power tools, nail guns, drill presses, measuring devices - Ability to handle physical workload (able to lift to 50lbs) and stand for long periods of time - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred - Operate scissor lift or sit-down forklift - Ability to work well in teams, strong work-ethic
Best vs Avg: Best- good attendance, is engaged while at work, good workplace maturity, high attention to detail, multiple years of production experience Avg- shows up to work majority of the time, sometimes off task while working, very little production experience
Disqualifiers - jumpy job history, failing score on the math test
First Day Expectations- Candidates will have a brief interview with the VP of Ops. They will need to be able to speak about their resume and math test results. They will then go on the floor to begin training.
