Robert Half Event Marketing Specialist in Duluth, Georgia

Description

We are in search of an Event Specialist to join our team in Duluth, Georgia. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for managing the trade show calendar, overseeing event logistics, and collaborating with internal teams and third-party partners. This role is focused on ensuring the effectiveness of trade shows and events and involves managing relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Management and maintenance of the trade show calendar across various channels

• Handling timelines and schedules for all trade shows and events, including outlining goals, scope, deliverables, and required resources

• Collaboration with internal teams and third-party partners to manage relationships effectively

• Evaluation of the effectiveness of trade shows and events, and communication of necessary changes to the business

• Overseeing of event logistics and maintaining relationships with venues, vendors, and suppliers

• Management of inventory and shipments of company materials and giveaways for events

• Assisting in the creation of impactful metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure ROI

• Execution of event planning from start to finish, supporting pre-event promotions and post-event follow-up

• Resolution of any unforeseen issues that may arise during the execution of events

Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Event Marketing Specialist or in a relevant role

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign

• Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools

• Knowledge and experience in utilizing Facebook Insights

• Proven track record in creating and managing advertisements

• Experience in blogging and creating engaging content

• Demonstrated ability to increase brand awareness

• Experience with budget processes and financial planning for marketing activities

• Strong skills in campaign planning and execution

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and also independently when required

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred. Innovation starts with people.®
