Our Program Cost Control Analyst will help prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis. You will also work to ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation for expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete
Other duties as assigned

Your Expertise - Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 1+ years of professional experience
Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Experience with financial analysis or reporting
Experience with MS Office Suite
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance.

Earned Value Management (EVM) experience

Experience with FAR/DFAR
Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, Primavera or SAP
About Tactical Space Systems: Leading designer, producer and supplier of spacecraft components that power and enable satellites of all classes. The premier source for mission-enabling, space-qualified deployable booms, masts and backing structures.
About Business Management: Integration of sector financial/business strategies to support of company and sector-wide objectives, including accounting operations, contracts management, pricing and estimating, compliance and asset and property management.
Salary Range: $73,900 - $110,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
