Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purpose.
Under close supervision the entry level position will contribute to the design of software and hardware for component test equipment (CTE) and automated test equipment (ATE) systems along with providing support for testing and debug of flight and non-flight spacecraft electronic circuit card assemblies (CCA) and boxes. Will work with senior staff to ensure that the technical requirements and functional operations of the systems are achieved. As part of a design team, support the end-to-end design, debug, test and certification of CTE/ATE system. Will work closely with the spacecraft avionics Design Engineers to ensure the CTE/ATE system will validate the circuit cards and/or electronics box under all test environments.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineer or similar discipline
Experience developing applications to interface with hardware components and instrument driver suites
Experience in the test and debug of hardware and software systems
A fundamental understanding of general and specialized test equipment to include: Data Bus Analyzers, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers, and Power equipment.
