We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. ASTRION has an exciting opportunity for a Safety Compliance Manager in support of the ARMY Division. JOB DETAILS LOCATION: Dugway Proving Ground, UT. JOB STATUS: Full-time TRAVEL: Estimated at 10% REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS * SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret * EDUCATION: Baccalaureate in finance or accounting from an accredited university. * EXPERIENCE LEVEL: * Minimum five years of experience as a Safety Compliance Manager on a Government contract; or equivalent years of experience with direct government or contractor supporting government contracts. * Must have experience in government contracts to include general contract quality management experience in safety, training and property management and general contract quality management. * ADDITIONAL: * Must be able to establish and maintain accounting record systems for labor, material, travel, and other direct costs. * Must be proficient in using MS Project or similar project management software. * Must be competent in basic computer software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). RESPONSIBILITIES * Will be responsible for contract quality in areas such as safety, training, property management, and general contract quality management.
