Reports to: Site Manager (TBD).
Job dimensions
Directly manages shipping dock, delivering packages and uniforms/lab coats internally, stockroom and container coordinator, complete daily lab waste pickup (from hallways) and organizes hazardous waste collection site and 3rd party pick up removal.
Activities
Safely manage shipping dock operations (i.e. shipping, receiving, material handling, delivery).
Complete safety training and follow all EHS requirements.
Work closely with EH&S manager and site team to ensure samples are safely packaged and shipped to compliance.
Interact with personnel outside the Dublin Tech Center (Columbus Bostik plant)
Foster a team-based culture
Measure and continuously improve assigned key performance indicators (KPI’s) including samples shipped, samples delivered to labs, Cintas items delivered, etc.
Context and environment
The job involves working in a R&D environment. Key drivers in the role are customer service, process efficiency and improvement and cost reduction.
Accountabilities
The purpose of the role is to manage the site safe shipping and receiving of chemicals, samples and waste.
Qualifications / experience required
B.S. degree preferred.
Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Applications. Experience in SAP is preferred.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
