We are seeking an Environmental Senior Consultant to join our team in our Dublin, OH office .
Candidates need to have demonstrated experience managing complex environmental assessment and remediation projects under various regulatory programs including Superfund, RCRA, TSCA, and state regulatory programs. This candidate should have a strong business development acumen, including the ability to identify proposal opportunities and lead development of winning proposals. This candidate should have a solid reputation for technical leadership as demonstrated through external visibility efforts (publications, presentations); and the ability to maintain/build key client relationships throughout Verdantas.
Responsibilities:
Lead environmental technical teams to deliver high quality work on Environmental Assessment and Remediation projects throughout Verdantas with an emphasis on the Great Lakes Area
Coordinate with our Client Development Leaders and Key and Focus Account Leads to support and execute proposal and project opportunities
Collaborate with Verdantas’ Environmental Assessment and Remediation National Practice Leader along with the Environmental Assessment and Remediation Area Practice Leaders to support Verdantas wide proposal opportunities
Support the Verdantas Environmental Assessment and Remediation National Practice Leader to adopt and implement innovative site assessment practices and remediation technologies
Prepare proposals and manage technical projects, including RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA and/or Ohio EPA VAP programs across Verdantas with the goal of producing high-level technical quality deliverables, maintaining client satisfaction, and maximizing project profitability
Possess detailed knowledge of regulations in the area of practice
Motivate and encourage others and help the team achieve success
Collaborate across multiple disciplines and with clients to articulate and achieve project goals
Qualifications:
Minimum four-year (accredited) college degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or other related technical discipline
20+ years of experience in environmental consulting
Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE)and/or Professional Geologist (PG) or other similar licensure with the ability to get reciprocal licenses within Great Lakes geography
Demonstrates leadership and the embodiment of the core values of Verdantas
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Must be able to pass a background check
