Description

Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for a Financial Systems Project Manager to support an Aptean Equipsoft ERP implementation for a client in Columbus, OH. The Project Manager will support the project from implementation to post-go-live, providing overall project management. The client looking for a PM with experience with MS Dynamics Business Central and/or Aptean Equipsoft. This is a 6-12 month contract role, which can be managed remotely. Local Columbus, OH candidates are preferred, but 100% non-local resources who can work an EST schedule will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the comprehensive implementation of the ERP system, which includes deployment and providing support after implementation.

• Create and manage the project plan, ensuring clear timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables are defined.

• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Operations, and external vendors, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational needs.

• Proactively identify project risks and create mitigation strategies to ensure the project stays on track.

• Ensure all project aspects are completed within the set timeline and budget, and meet quality standards.

• Regularly update stakeholders and senior leadership on project status, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Plan and execute thorough data migration, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Manage change efforts to ensure a smooth transition for end-users and provide ongoing support and training as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Management role

• Proficient in System Implementation and Agile methodologies

• PMP Certification a plus

• Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Previous experience in the Construction Industry

• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage projects from initiation to completion

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Knowledge of project management tools and software

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
