Actalent Entry Level Specimen Processor in Dublin, Ohio
Currently hiring multiple long term openings in a medical laboratory doing human specimen processing and sorting. This is in an entry-level role (no degree needed) and will be responsible for sorting, processing, and documentation for various human specimen. An ideal candidate will have consistent job experience and experience in a fast paced work environment or in a medical/health field.
The openings are night shift and can include overtime. This position will see between 40 to 50 hours a week.
Job Description:
• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results
• Assist clients with any specimen related requests or inquires
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have prior work experience, but can be from variety of industries. Industries can include a warehouse, manufacturing, fast food, retail, or medical/healthcare setting.
A high school degree or GED is required for this position.
No college degree required as this is an Entry-Level Science lab role
