Microsoft Corporation Technical Product Manager in Dublin, Ireland

As a Technical Product Manager (Product Manager II) on our team, you will play a key role in delivering the next generation stack that powers assistance experiences for the Office, Windows, Teams and Copilot customers across the globe. You’ll work closely with other PMs and key partner teams across Microsoft to understand our unmet needs, design the desired feature sets and outcomes which meet those needs and work closely with engineering to deliver on the roadmap while measuring the impact along the way.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and track success criteria of a feature group. You’ll also partner with others to identify short-term investment opportunities and collaborate with partners to garner support for that feature group.

  • Demonstrate ability to define a feature set and validate your designs with key users and partners. You’ll start to own a portion of the roadmap for a feature group, and will organize scenario walkthroughs to identify problems.

  • Partner with peers in other Microsoft teams, to seek out and progress opportunities for collaboration & sharing.

  • Partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses to incrementally improve product development in specific areas. You’ll also begin to manage customer communities and build trust with targeted customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR eqivalent experience.

  • Strong technical background with an ability to rapidly learn new technologies.

  • Experience with customer-driven engineering and the cross-team collaboration it takes to delight our customers.

  • Translate ideas into reality by writing quality specifications and driving results throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

  • Comfortable making hard decisions using a blend of quantitative and qualitative inputs.

  • Experience with iterative development and the full software cycle of requirements, design, coding/testing, rollout/deploy standard methodologies in delivering outstanding software and services.

  • Exceptional written, spoken communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated success collaborating across geographically distributed teams.

  • Manage ambiguity and a rapidly changing business environment.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
