Job Description
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) provides an end-to-end revenue management system for communications service providers. BRM system includes comprehensive management of payments, collections, invoicing, account receivables, taxation, general ledger integration, and reporting.
Oracle is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to grow our R&D team in Dublin. As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, you will be involved in a development role to design, develop & release of Cloud-native application services and functions. Analyze designs, develop, test and implement innovative solutions to ensure a high level of quality, robustness, scalability, and performance while meeting delivery schedule commitments.
Working with cross-functional teams in Quality, Documentation, Performance, and Program Management to achieve agreed-upon results, coordinating and working closely with remote teams to meet the needs of the project.
Playing a proactive role to make the customer successful by addressing customer questions and issues.
Owning consistency and high quality in solution delivery
Adherence to architectural best practices and standards.
Providing input into plans and working closely with the development manager to ensure project success.

Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Skillset Required:
Candidate is expected to write good quality C/C++, Java Code and should be able to develop corresponding Unit tests and Automation. He/She must have hands-on experience with Cloud Native technologies. Additional skill set include DB and XML concepts, Agile methodology, CI/CD process.
Candidate should have excellent analytical/problem-solving skills, knowledge of data structures and object-oriented design. He/She should be able to understand requirements and deliver independently.
Telecom billing background is an added advantage.
