Microsoft Corporation Product Manager II in Dublin, Ireland

The Cloud Native Core team is responsible for some of Azure's key investments in the containers and Kubernetes space, including the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO), the Azure Container Registry (ACR), along with much of Microsoft's involvement in the cloud native open source community.

As a Product Manager II in the team, you will be responsible for connecting with and cultivating a number of user communities focused on these areas, through forums like the AKS YouTube channel and blog, the Microsoft MVP program, and our customer concierge program, which connects many of most important customers directly to the product group.

This opportunity will expose you to a broad array of cloud native technologies and give you a chance to build strong, passionate communities around our products. Sitting at the center of a cross-functional v-team focused on growth and advocacy, you will have the opportunity to work closely with engineering, product marketing, cloud advocacy, and our technical field, allowing you to expand your skillset and network.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute on a content strategy for key external user forums, including the AKS YouTube channel, blog, and more.

  • Cultivate a strong connection with the cloud native members of the Microsoft MVP program.

  • Build compelling product demo content for use by internal and external audiences.

  • Manage the AKS customer concierge program, identifying key customers to engage deeply with, connecting them to the product group, and working with product marketing to highlight their success on the platform in case studies and other assets.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional / Preferred Qualifcations:

  • Experience with cloud native technologies, such as Kubernetes and containers.
