Within CO+I, the Global Supply Chain team supports our datacenter project execution by providing an expert Contracts Management function on each project managing the execution of construction contracts through to the post contract administration of the terms and conditions therein. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, high value, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects with a team of contracts managers across the portfolio. We are looking to fill the critical role of EMEA Portfolio Contracts Manager who will support the Regional Execution Leader in managing the consistent delivery of the contracts management function across the EMEA portfolio.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the Contracts Management function across the full EMEA Build Portfolio guiding the individual Contracts Managers based at the project locations;

Contract Review and Compliance:

  • Support consistent drafting of project specific contracts on pre-approved Microsoft contract templates.

  • Reviews and thoroughly understands the contract terms and conditions and ensures compliance from relevant parties.

  • Responsible for ensuring all contractual requirements are compliant with terms and conditions.

  • Execute project closeout requirements.

Change Order Management:

  • Manage the consistent application of the Change Management process across the Portfolio and Monitor project compliance with same.

  • Develop the existing suite of contract change order templates and their implementation on site.

Coordination & Communication:

  • Develops a deep understanding of all post-award contract execution responsibilities for GC, OFCI vendors, AE, Cx, etc. and ensures that these requirements are clearly captured in project execution plans by site based contracts managers.

  • Works on continuous development of post award activities in collaboration with the Global Supply Chain team and with the cross functional EPC partners in EMEA.

  • Supports and where necessary leads the onboarding of new contract management staff at the project level across the EMEA Portfolio.

Documentation Management and Reporting:

  • Provide oversight on the delivery of weekly status reports, issues, risks and mitigations to leadership

  • Support the management of contractual notices as appropriate through the development of template documents with appropriate language from terms & conditions.

  • Subcontractor Procurement:

  • Manage compliance oversight of project based contracts managers in the application of their role in the Trade Sub-Contract procurement process.

  • Support the continuous development of the Trade Sub-Contract procurement process in collaboration with our EPC Stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field.

  • Deep construction execution experience in Procurement, Supply Chain and Contracts Management is an absolute requirement for this role.

Category Experience:

  • Deep project experience in managing complex construction contracts is an absolute requirement for this role.

  • Experience in more key construction categories including Architect / Engineering consultancy, Infrastructure Equipment and construction services would be of benefit too.

  • Experience on large-scale mission critical construction projects is an absolute requirement - sourcing, managing, and administering contracts over USD $100M.
