About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join our Front Office team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Ensure that all check-in details are accurately entered in the computer.

  • Ensure that arriving guests are registered in accordance with Company Policy and Procedure.

  • Ensure that rooms are sold at the best possible rate, thus maximizing hotel revenue. Maximum room occupancy and revenue is to be achieved at all times.

  • Endeavour to maintain high standards of the hotel with particular regard to importance of VIP's.

  • Ensure account instructions concerning discounts or special rates are compiled with all times and recorded correctly on the appropriate worksheets.

  • Ensure guests are escorted to their rooms on check-in, explaining and up-selling the Hotel's food and beverage facilities as well Spa facilities.

  • Ensure that all check in messages are given to the guest on arrival.

  • To ensure all room rates are posted correctly by completing Room Rate variance report.

  • To complete detailed handover of business at end and beginning of shift.

  • To ensure that the Guest Services Executives have balanced the day's work and reported any errors.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience within the international luxury hospitality industry of Dubai.

  • Any additional language will be considered as a plus (Russian/Arabic/French/Spanish/Italian/Mandarin).

  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
