About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Spa Therapist to join the team of Talise Spa in Jumeirah Emirates Towers . The purpose of this job is to provide health, body, and SPA treatments in a safe and professional manner, while providing excellent service, comfort, and unique guest experience to all clients. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Perform all treatments offered within Talise Spa, including those listed in the treatment menu.

  • Maintain the upkeep of treatment rooms by ensuring:

  • Hot cabbies are consistently in immaculate condition.

  • Treatment rooms are set up according to the treatment room standard operating procedure.

  • Cabinets are organized, tidy, and cleaned as per cabinet standard operating procedure.

  • Burner remains clean.

  • Green Globe standards are followed, including turning off lights and ensuring no candles are burning in treatment rooms when treatments are not in progress.

  • Adherence to therapist opening and closing procedures.

  • Actively promote all spa products to guests, providing comprehensive product knowledge.

  • Ensure an adequate stock of products is available to perform treatments.

  • Inform or recommend guests about spa treatments and programs as well retail products.

  • Maintain accurate electronic consultation records for treatments and products used, particularly for repeated guests.

  • Address any guest-related matters, product or equipment needs, and technical service requests promptly.

  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and continue to develop skills.

  • Provide retail recommendation cards to every guest.

  • Maintain stocking, cleaning, and facility setup during available time slots of 30 minutes or more.

  • Assist Spa Receptionist in assisting guests with inquiries or tours.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Relevant spa therapy qualifications

  • Experience working and managing in the Spa industry in a 5-star Hospitality environment

  • Experience delivering a range of treatments including massage, facials, scrubs, wraps, reflexology, waxing.

  • Possesses a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in delivering therapy services in a luxury hotel.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited College/University or is a holder of a certificate by CIBTAC if possible.
