Do you have experience from the pump industry combined with a commercial mindset? Do you want to use your broad technical knowledge and deep customer understanding to support our local Service organization and act as a mentor for the Service Professionals? Then we have an interesting position in Grundfos to cover Middle East.
What is the job about?
As a Service Technician, you will apply broad expert technical knowledge and after-sales service to the regional/global market for Grundfos supplied services and solutions. Responsible for troubleshooting methodology for new and existing products. Demonstrates high degree of understanding of customer needs.
Your main responsibilities :
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems and equipment. This includes machinery such as pumps, motors, control panels and related accessories.
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and protocols is crucial, must adhere to safety standards when working with electrical and mechanical equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others.
Prepare and maintain detailed service reports of findings, maintenance activities, repairs, equipment performance, and recommendations or preventive actions.
Should be well disciplined, punctual, and adhering to company purpose, key behaviors and values.
Collaborate, seek guidance’s and work closely with Service Manager, Service engineers/technicians, service coordinators in day-to-day activities and service operations.
Continuous Learning and Development and stay updated with advances in technology by participating in company provided online and F2F training programs, workshops, or by self-learning to enhance skills and knowledge
Your background
High School, Diploma or Equivalentwith at least 5-6 years of relevant experience
Possess industry experience within a business environment; experience working in a large manufacturing environment is much appreciated.
Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within the functional area in the service environment
Good ability to influence others
Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, for the service environment
