About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Paramedic at Wild Wadi Waterpark. The purpose of this role is to be primarily responsible for providing emergency and primary health care for Jumeirah Guests, Residents and Colleagues. Perform administrative duties pertaining to the provision of health care and operation of the clinic in line with Standard Operating Procedures

The main responsibilities are:

• Provide rapid intervention and Administer life support, first-aid treatment, and other forms of prehospital emergency care to Jumeirah Guest’s and Colleagues within the SBU and immediate surroundings.

• Evaluate the patient’s condition determine the severity and type, perform preliminary diagnosis, and quickly begin appropriate medical procedures after determining the best course of treatment

• Reassure patients and talk them through the situation and the immediate course of action/treatment

• Advise guests of alternative methods of arranging medicine not available in the clinic. [i.e., Through concierge]

• Administer drugs as appropriate and necessary via injection, intravenous procedures, or oral administration following the standard protocol or under the direction of a physician

• Clearly and accurately communicate relevant information regarding patient condition and

care on referral of a patient for definitive care

• Support Colleagues well-being on preventive health care under medical services guidance

• Show Integrity and respect always to make the clinic a place that is approachable by all.

• Provide support to Guest’s, Colleagues, and their families in traumatic situations

• Maintain clear, accurate and updated records pertaining to patient care and actions taken, medical, healthcare and safety issues

• Adhere to established medical protocols, Code of Conduct and Standard Operating procedures as well as legal guidelines and health and safety standards

• Keep abreast with new treatment and medical procedures through continuous training workshops, or meetings as requested by Paramedic manager

• Ensure all inventories and supplies of medicines, equipment etc. are properly managed and available for treatment as necessary

• Keep all the stakeholders such as Director of Colleague and Medical Services, Security Director etc. on issues pertaining to emergency medical care, if a potential hygiene / safety hazard has been identified

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Paramedic

• Firsthand experience on handling different emergency situations

• AEA

• CCA

• National Diploma / Country Specific Diploma or Certification

• Emergency Trauma Care Degree

• Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology, and medications

• Computer literacy
