You‘ll make a difference by

In this role you will be part of the high-performance Energy Performance Service team based in the UAE (Dubai). This position requires a dynamic, self-driven individual to work within our ambitious team to manage the energy efficiency solution development team. Candidate must be highly motivated and bring energy, drive, and passion to their work and be able to build on the success of an existing successful team. The key responsibilities include-

· Support the Business Leader, Energy Performance Services with the leadership and management of the multifaceted engineering team, through solution development and strategy implementation through technical excellence/innovation.

· Guide and supervise the energy engineering team to achieve business and project objectives on large, complex, high-risk projects through technical due diligence, knowledge sharing, and risk mitigation advise.

· Lead initiatives for new technology and solution development. Enhance process improvement and develop guidelines to standardize and implement solution development processes and engineering tools. Integrate technical and financial information to assess project viability and ensure compliance with customer, code, and regulatory requirements.

· Develop concepts and conduct research for unique applications and ideas with consultative mindset utilizing best practices and tools i.e. design thinking. Support engineering processes and financial tasks during both preliminary and detailed project development. Review energy efficiency calculations, scope of work, and performance assurance (M&V) plans in ESPC projects.

· Demonstrate proven expertise and a successful track record in conducting ASHRAE Level 1, 2, and 3 energy audits to identify techno-commercially feasible Facility Improvement Measures (FIMs).

· Follow all internal and external processes and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted and flawless solution development.

· Be willing to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, to support the above activities.

Your success is grounded in

  • Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical or energy engineering with minimum 15 years proven experience in Energy Performance Contracting project development, Energy Auditsand Building Services or facility management.

  • Matured team player with growth mindset, extensive experience in developing, leading, motivating and managing performance for an experienced energy engineering team with diverse backgrounds.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior customer stakeholders, senior business leaders, in a structured manner.

  • Long-term experience in optimizing and designing technically and financially viable energy efficiency solutions for industrial and large commercial building infrastructures.

  • Strong understanding of business practices related to energy efficiency projects, sustainability, decarbonization and Measurement and Verification (M&V) protocols, with a track record of successful solution implementation and results.

  • Proficient in translating complex and unstructured data into meaningful statistics, information, and solutions.

  • High proficiency in MS Excel and other research, technical analysis, energy flow, and presentation tools.

  • Ability to work towards strict deadlines, manage and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Proactive with strong planning, organizing, and attention to details.

  • Well versed with HVAC systems including large water/air cooled chiller plants, refrigeration plants, building controls, lighting, heating systems, building envelope, steam, compressed air systems, electrical and domestic water system technologies / design, ASHRAE standards: 211, 100, 90, 62 etc. including certifications in energy efficiency domain e.g. CEA/CEM/CMVP etc.

  • Knowledge, experience and certification in renewable energy solutions, energy modelling, industrial energy audit and LEED/WELL/Estidama/GSAS/ISO 50001 etc. shall be essential.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic(desirable).

  • UAE driving license desirable.
