Chevron Corporation Costing Analyst and Material Master Data Gatekeeper (MEA) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Costing Analyst and Material Master Data Gatekeeper. This dual role is crucial for ensuring accurate cost analysis and maintaining the integrity of our material master data which directly impacts our financials health and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, cost accounting, and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Costing Analyst: Performing monthly costing cycles, estimating product costs, completing ad-hoc costing requests, conducting ongoing cost analyses, and performing cost variance and risk analysis.

  • Material Master Data Gatekeeper: Maintaining and managing material master data in SAP, ensuring data accuracy, collaborating with departments, implementing data governance policies, conducting audits, providing training, and resolving data-related issues.

  • Optimization Initiatives and Initiative Tracker: Monitoring and reporting on optimization projects, collaborating with teams for process improvements, tracking KPIs, preparing updates for stakeholders, and identifying areas for further optimization to achieve cost effectiveness across value chain

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or relevant academic background. 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience using SAP, Power BI, IBP.

  • Proficiency in English is required/ Arabic is a plus

  • A proactive and driven individual who thrives in dynamic team settings and excels at collaborating with both internal teams and stakeholders

  • Analytical Thinking and attention to details

  • Developing solutions based on data insights.

  • Understanding the broader business context and its impact on costs.
