Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a luxurious beachside resort located on the west crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The interior of the resort is inspired by the ancient palaces of Turkey and features hand-painted finishings, Turkish artworks and stunning murals inspired by the Golden Age of the Ottoman Empire. The resort offers 405 rooms and suites, 38 Royal Residences and the award-winning Talise Ottoman Spa, one of the largest and most luxurious spas in the Middle East. The resort offers Sinbad’s Kids Club complete with splash park, nightlife destination Music Hall and a collection of eight diverse restaurants which offer a vibrant selection of culinary experiences. About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bartender in Zenzi Beach at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Greet guests with warm welcome and smile. Escort them to their tables. Answer inquiries about food and beverage items on the men.

  • Identify and meet guests’ needs, provide appropriate bar services, and assist guests in recommendations, upselling where appropriate to provide knowledgeable and bespoke service.

  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes. Curate recipes specializing in fine beverages and unique cocktails in accordance with theme of the outlet/function or as required by guests.

  • Must be able to assess and manage guests needs and recommend excellent wine and food pairing as per theme of the outlet or as required by guests. Where possible, upsell Beverages to guests based on their need, choice, and selection.

  • Work closely with Bartenders serving all guests and support them as necessary to ensure excellent service delivery.

  • Ensure all drinks transactions are processed, registered, and settled.

  • Setup the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately.

  • Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.

  • Undertake opening, closing & cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists.

  • Coordinate with stewards to ensure equipment and bar area are always kept hygienically clean. and tidy and sufficient glassware is available.

  • Oversee Bar inventories, ensure the checking of expiration dates and that all perishables. garnishes are stored and recorded in designated storage area.

  • Complete all checklists as required daily, weekly, and monthly for the bar.

  • Highlight replenishments for beverage products to the manager or team leader.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 2+ years Bartending experience (preferably within the international hospitality industry).

  • Proficient in spoken business English.

  • Additional language will be an advantage.

  • Effective communication skills with all levels of colleagues and management at all levels.

  • Expert in Wine, Spirits & Cocktails.

  • WSET L2 Certification (Desired)
