Full time or Part time openings.
The Child Care Aide will maintain a safe and stimulating environment for young children.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children age 2 months - 8 years of age; Coordinate daily activities, supervising and interacting with children Light cleaning as well as Inspect and remove damaged toys, attend all in service and staff meetings, Must be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the children, assist in the creation of a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the physical , social and emotional development, report any suspect abuse to the supervisor, support the social and economic development of the children, assist with the selection of toys, books, maintain attendance records, attend to the personal hygiene of each child, prepare and clean up after each meal, maintain annual 6 hr training from DPW website, maintain CPR and first aid certification, acquire a physical exam every 2 years.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to communicate, lift children, move furniture
REQUIRED: Child Abuse clearance, FBI, National sex offender registry, DHS childcare regulations and requirements
