Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Embedded Software Developer III to join our Casino Gaming clients team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software and firmware, primarily using C and C++. You will work on Linux systems, including building Linux using Buildroot or Yocto, and scripting in Bash and Python. You will interact with network systems and handle network programming, ensuring seamless integration with various gaming systems. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers, review tasks, and provide time estimates for project completion. You will also participate in a flexible work schedule, adapting to team needs and collaborating closely with a small, dynamic team.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in software, electronics, or a related area, or relevant experience.
7+ years of experience in embedded software development.
Proficiency in low-level software development using C and C++.
Experience with Linux systems and building Linux using Buildroot or Yocto.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex software issues.
Knowledge of network programming and interaction with network systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in the gaming industry.
Familiarity with Unity or a good understanding of it.
Experience with scripting in Bash and Python.
Bilingual in English and French null
