What will you do?

Siemens Canada seeks a Plant Data Technician (SAP) for our Drummondville manufacturing facility. Our growing operation specializes in producing high-quality, customized power distribution equipment for the Canadian market. Our processes encompass material handling, metal fabrication, powder coating, final assembly, and meticulous quality testing.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be required to manage our database with the SAP MM, PP and WM modules, as well as SD and FI.

  • Conduct audits and analysis to identify plant-level master data gaps.

  • Update and maintain plant-level material master data, coordinating actions with various departments.

  • Assist in improving and automating SAP tools for SCM functions.

  • Analyze and prioritize master data deficiencies, presenting impacts and driving changes.

  • Primarily on-site to validate SAP actions, support manufacturing, and collaborate with colleagues.

  • Analyze data to develop master data's reference framework.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The position will require to work at our Drummondville office

What will you need to succeed?

  • DEC in Accounting and Management or DEC in Operations and Supply Chain Management

  • Alternatively, professional training and 2-4 years' experience in the manufacturing value chain, including manufacturing, with the ability to apply this knowledge to virtual processes in SAP can replace a college diploma.

  • Knowledge of SAP MM and PP modules, with familiarity in SD and FI is a strong asset

  • Experience in a fast-paced business environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in Office 365 Applications, particularly Excel.

  • Willingness and capability to learn and tackle additional responsibilities as understanding of the business grows.

  • Bilingual (French-English) spoken and written is required as the role requires to interact with colleague within the Plant and within Canada & US
