L2 Aviation Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk in Dripping Springs, Texas

Position: Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk Location: Hybrid / Dripping Springs, TX (Austin, TX area) Description: The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures and managing incoming payments. The AP/AR Clerk ensures that finances are accurate and up to date, and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits. Primary Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Review, verify, and process invoices for goods and services. Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Reconcile accounts payable transactions. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date. Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Maintain vendor files. Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries. Assist with month-end closing. Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports. ​​​​​ Accounts Receivable: Generate and send out invoices. Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments. Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines. Perform account reconciliations. Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records. Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc. Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts. Assist with month-end closing. Prepare monthly receivable reports. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. Proven working experience as an AP/AR Clerk or in a similar role. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. Required: Excellent communication skills and must be customer service oriented Ability to perform work independently and as part of a team. Must be available for occasional weekend and after-hours work Must pass background verification, pre-employment drug testing, and submit to company's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program.
