Come join our team as a Seasonal General Labourer at the Dresden cannery. Come work at our upgraded facility with state-of-the-art processing equipment, manufacturing Aylmer, Hunt’s and Ro*Tel. You will work with other team members to support daily tomato production operation as it is fresh pack season.

You will assist in all aspects of our manufacturing and production processes which include the safe operation of equipment.

What Impact Will You Have?

• You will operate machinery, such as stackers, steamers, and cookers. This includes working in our can room, cook room and cold batch; while always focusing on safe food-handling practices (training provided)

• We want to ensure our products meet quality standards, you will visually inspect our products reporting any defects or issues

• We work as a team. You will collaborate with others to achieve production goals and maintain a positive and efficient working environment

• Meeting our production goals requires our team members to be punctual and follow company policies and procedures to meet safe working expectation

Do You Have What It Takes?

• Overtime is required (10-hour shifts/7 days a week during fresh pack) to ensure production demand is fulfilled

• This is a physical position. You will be asked to do things like lifting boxes of up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods of time, and repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination in a high heat/humid environment

• This is a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts that can be noisy. Safety is important to us, we provide earplugs and other personal protective equipment

• We will provide reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
