PLURALSIGHT, LLC Training Specialist in DRAPER, Utah

Job Description: The Training Specialist is responsible for facilitating and delivering training sessions that align with the organization's learning and development objectives. This role includes conducting both in-person and virtual training workshops, supporting the creation of training materials, and working closely with your peers on the Talent team to ensure training programs meet the needs of the business. The Training Specialist is expected to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the learning experience through direct facilitation, content refinement, and participant engagement.

What you'll do:

Training Delivery * Facilitate both in-person and virtual workshops, with a focus on delivering engaging and impactful training experiences. * Deliver approximately 80-100 half-day workshops and 150-200 virtual sessions annually, balancing multiple types of training formats.

Content Development and Refinement * Assist in the creation and customization of training materials to align with business objectives and learner needs. * Work alongside instructional designers and other Learning professionals to adapt existing content for specific workshops.

Participant Engagement * Create a positive and engaging learning environment to ensure participant involvement and knowledge retention. * Collect and analyze feedback from participants to continuously improve the learning experience.

Training Needs Analysis and Assessment * Conduct needs analysis to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate training solutions. * Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by collecting data and providing insights to enhance future sessions.

Collaboration and Support * Work closely with instructional designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to align training initiatives with broader organizational goals. * Assist in special projects as required, including program rollouts and updates to learning materials.

Experience you'll bring: * Experience in facilitating both in-person and virtual workshops with strong presentation and communication skills. * Familiarity with e-learning platforms and virtual facilitation tools (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, etc.). * Ability to engage learners and foster an interactive and impactful training environment. * Basic understanding of instructional design principles and learning methodologies. * Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple workshops and projects simultaneously. * Experience working in Agile environments or familiarity with Scrum methodologies. * Ability to adapt training delivery to meet the needs of diverse audiences and learning styles. * Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) for tracking participation and learning progress.

Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field. * 2-4 years of experience in training delivery or facilitation, preferably within a corporate environment. * Proven track record of delivering engaging workshops and training programs.

Travel Requirements:

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
