Sr. Manager, Human Resources (#MG-1103).  Focus on people and organizational issues and act as a catalyst in delivering HR solutions. Attract, develop, and retain talent and support the specific needs of the business groups and overall business objectives. Provide leadership for the implementation of the client group(s), and/or country/countries' human resource strategies to achieve their current and future business objectives. Consult, advise, influence and partner with leadership on talent strategies and actions to build an engaged and high-performing organization. Lead or partner with COE's (Center of Excellence) to deliver human resource programs for client groups to ensure the organization's current and future talent requirements are met. Partner with HR Management or COE's to evaluate the organization's future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs. Identify training needs for assigned client group(s) and individual executive coaching needs, and participate in evaluation and monitoring of training and coaching programs to ensure success. Participate in the interview/selection of talent in assigned client groups and perform compensation analysis to drive competitive offers. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree or equivalent in Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field. 8 years of experience in human resources. In lieu of a Master's degree and 8 years of experience, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field and 10 years of progressive experience in human resources. Work experience to include: 1. Four years of experience serving as Subject Matter Expert in the areas of workforce planning, identification of skills gaps and closures, developing and deploying training programs, and handling employee relation cases. 2. Leading HR deliverables in a matrixed environment; must include planning, organizing, and overseeing junior HR professionals as well as coaching and providing feedback to subordinates. 3. Identifying key metrics and developing evaluation processes for learning needs assessments, developing recommendations and solutions to increase the effectiveness of learning programs. 4. Leading the identification, contracting, negotiating and managing of relationships with external vendors and providers of training programs, benefits and human resources services for the medical device industry. 5. Assessing organizational and functional gaps within the organization's skills and capabilities and developing a roadmap to close the gaps. 6. Managing the redesign and leading the implementation of new hire onboarding for hourly manufacturing professionals. 7. Developing, delivering and coordinating practical audience-specific training including instructor-led, multimedia visual aids, online programs, educational materials, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops. 8. Performing cost analysis of results and ROI (Return On Investment) in training and identifying potential improvement opportunities. 9. Risk mitigation, ensuring SOX compliance, working with internal and external audit, finance, payroll and legal teams to ensure compliance of Human Resources learning and development programs with all applicable federal and state laws, including anti-discrimination and harassment training. Any and all experience can be gained concurrently.
