PLURALSIGHT, LLC Senior Revenue Accountant in DRAPER, Utah

Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our world-class accounting team! The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation and are diligent in their attention to detail. They will support our revenue close process and other critical aspects of the financial statement close.

What you'll do: * Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations * Performing review of revenue transactions and related contracts to ensure appropriate revenue recognition * Assisting with the implementation of new systems * Calculate royalty payments to our authors and perform reviews to ensure accurate computation * Assisting with financial statement audits * Conducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required

Experience you'll bring: * Strong understanding of US GAAP * Understanding of new revenue recognition guidance as prescribed under ASC 606 preferred * Advanced knowledge of Excel * Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical abilities * CPA preferred * Master's degree in accounting preferred * Some public accounting experience

Requirements: * Requires a minimum of 5 years of related or equivalent experience; or 3+ years with an advanced degree

Travel Requirements: While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
