Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist
Job Description
Seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist for a job shop environment. The successful candidate will primarily work independently, handling the complete lifecycle of machining parts for conveyor systems from reading blueprints to troubleshooting and final production. This role involves setting up, operating, and editing programs on a Haas ST-28 CNC Lathe machine, interpreting engineering drawings, and machining shafts. The machinist will also be responsible for troubleshooting, often collaborating with other employees to resolve engineering issues.
Hard Skills
5+ years of CNC Lathe Machining experience
Proficient in setting up and operating CNC Lathe
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience in job shop environment
Utilization of fabrication tools

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Work Environment
Medium sized fabrication and welding production shop with 20-25 employees on the shop floor, equipped with overhead cranes and essential industrial tools.
