Allied Machine & Engineering Channel Manager in Dover, Ohio

The Channel Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with assigned channel partners. This role involves managing sales through indirect channels such as distributors, resellers, or partners to achieve revenue and market share objectives. The Channel Manager collaborates with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive channel success and ensure partners are equipped with the necessary resources to sell the company's products effectively.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

Channel Development:

· Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand market reach.

· Develop and execute channel strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

· Conduct regular business reviews with partners to track performance and identify growth opportunities.

Partner Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations.

· Provide ongoing support and training to partners to ensure they are knowledgeable about the company's products and services.

· Address partner inquiries and resolve any issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.

Sales and Marketing Collaboration:

· Work closely with the sales team to align channel strategies with overall sales objectives.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute joint marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

· Ensure partners are equipped with marketing materials, product information, and sales tools.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

· Monitor partner performance and sales metrics, providing regular reports to management.

· Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the channel.

· Develop and implement action plans to address underperformance or capitalize on growth opportunities.

Product and Market Knowledge:

· Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.

· Provide feedback to product development teams on partner and customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights.

· Ensure partners are informed about new product launches, updates, and enhancements.

Skills/Abilities:

· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Proven ability to develop and execute channel strategies.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

· Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving targets.

· Proficiency with Microsoft and CRM software along with sales analytics tools.

Education/Experience:

· 5+ years experience in channel management or B2B sales

· Knowledge of the cutting tool industry and market

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
