Position is located: Mayo Hospital

Work Type: Full Time

Hours Per Week: 36.00

Work Schedule: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Summary:

Performs the functions of processing sterile supplies and equipment for the OR and other departments.

Responsibilities:

• Communicates with co-workers in a positive, courteous, respectful and constructive manner. • Effectively communicates job related information. • Contributes to a positive atmosphere where co-workers can develop skills and abilities to the fullest potential. • Attends work and utilizes PTO program I accordance with policy. • Consistently follows established procedures in processing all items through the preparation cycle. • Accurately assembles, marks and processes instruments. • Keeps equipment clean and well maintained. • Follows policy for quality improvement (Biological indicators item load and logbook). • Maintains appropriate inventories of supplies. • Demonstrates the ability to adapt to an ever-changing patient care environment.

Other Information:

Must obtain CRCST certification within one year of hire.

Education
