Cigna Marketing Advisor, Medicare Customer Communications - Work at Home in Dover, Delaware

Job Description

This is a Marketing Advisor role responsible for the development of key customer communication programs and materials for the Medicare Advantage business . Key job functions include design/copywriting, content research and development, compliance review, project management, and delivery to internal business owners and customers. You will work with business leads, benefit vendors, and marketing communication professionals to deliver memorable materials that drive customer education and retention. This role requires flexibility, strong time management, and the ability to support several programs and ad-hoc requests at one time.

What we want you to do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Leads key marketing and communication projects involving development of customer collateral, welcome kit materials, and website content for Medicare Advantage customers.

  • Develops welcome communication strategy with key business owners in enrollment, health services, national contracting, and quality. Secures final review/ sign-off from key subject matter experts.

  • Manage Marketing support for Customer Meetings intended to welcome, educate, and show appreciation for plan customers in specific markets

  • Develop Customer Ambassador program in specific markets to develop groups of engaged customers to provide feedback to the plan and be a market advocate for Cigna

  • Act as Medicare communication liaison to Commercial Customer Lifecycle team to understand how Medicare communications can fit into Cigna commercial communication plans

  • Manages and prioritizes marketing and communication requests from key business units. Leads development of new collateral/ materials or directs business owner existing materials.

  • Generates consensus from regional and enterprise stakeholders at all levels.

  • Supports/ tracks creative and production schedules and budgets.

  • Communicates with acquisition marketing to ensure alignment on prospect and customer messages related to benefits and support services.

  • Manages project work plans and team policies and procedures related to material development and review and distribution of materials.

  • Manages relationship and established processes with benefit vendors and internal technology and production teams.

  • Learns and follows compliance guidelines outlined and updated each year by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or equivalent discipline, preferred or equivalent, 7+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Health care marketing experience preferred.

  • Experience in leading and managing communications projects from start to finish.

  • Ability to lead, manage, and provide clear guidance to a project team.

  • Must be able to build management and vendor relationships.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects with fast deadlines.

  • Excellent facilitation skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills in addition to analytic skills to derive and communicate results from research.

  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player on multiple projects.

  • Organized with ability to effectively manage time.
