Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Rex Lumber's Corporate Office located in Graceville, Florida is seeking to hire Payroll and Benefits Administrator.

Job Description:This position requires discretion, exceptionalcomputer, organization, and communication skills. This person must work well in an office environment and as part of a team. Experience with payroll software and benefits management software is preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in the United States
  • Knowledge of payroll software ADP Preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment with ahigh level of change.
  • Ability to collaborate with mill locations to get things done for payroll and benefits for employees
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization across multiple teams and multiple states.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on projects and issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing multi-state payroll in a timely and accurate manner using ADP.

``` - Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and correct any discrepancies, including overtime, tax withholdings and other deductions. - Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee records and resolve any payroll-related issues. - Stay up to date on changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

``` - Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies and irregularities with HR.

``` - Knowledge of all benefits offered by Rex Lumber. - Assist in the development and implementation of payroll procedures and policy. - Generate reports as needed, including Fiscal Year end, W-2s and 1095-A.
