Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Patient Access Supervisor: Is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Patient Access department by assisting the Patient Access Supervisor in overseeing the registration workflow in the Outpatient Department
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a Patient Access role, with a strong understanding of patient registration is required. Prior experience in Outpatient Registration is strongly desired. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience with Cerner and Medhost Patient Access is preferred
