What are your contributions to the team?
Be part of the core RMAS team, for support to business aircraft of which the primary tasks are to conduct aircraft safety and/or system safety activities, and to support design change activities.
Be responsible for RMAS deliverables specific to the assigned systems.
Support activities and be an active member of the RMAS Knowledge Domain and its activities
Participate in the system functional hazard analysis, aircraft and system fault tree analysis, system safety assessment, failure mode and effect analysis and the RMAS certification reports.
The duties may include certification activities on major derivatives and/or new platforms which would involve co-ordination of technical issues and resolutions across all Bombardier, Partner/Supplier, Regulatory and Customer parties
The duties may also include support to strategic technologies for RMAS guidance and analysis
How to thrive in this role?
You are a university graduate in electrical/mechanical engineering with at least 10 years RMAS experience.
You have a strong electro-mechanical background and has an excellent understanding of aircraft performance characteristics, aircraft systems definition, integration, interfaces, component qualification, reliability and safety requirements and certification process of flight controls systems.
You preferably have been directly involved in the aircraft definition and certification.
You must be very cognizant of the relevant Airworthiness Regulations and certification process.
You have the ability to communicate sound technical proposals and work status to senior management, be a team player, a self-motivated person and be able to work under pressure.
You possess a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
You have good oral and technical writing skills in English are required (French is an asset).
You possess basic knowledge of MS Office.
You have knowledge of creating Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Fault Tree and Safety Analysis (required).
