Description
Robert Half is working with a thriving company who is seeking a Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This is a fantastic role and you will have the opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic department.
Located in Doral, Florida, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening. Must be able to work ONSITE.
Key responsibilities
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Perform special projects as assigned
Carry out a full-cycle A/P
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

Requirements
Prior experience in an A/P role (1+ years is a MUST)
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
