What You’ll Do

The Sustainability Solution Analyst will work closely with the Lenovo Sustainability Solution Designers, Sales Teams, Project Management Office, Vendors and Customers This position will develop comprehensive, innovative, and cost-effective solutions within the various value recovery initiatives to enable Lenovo’s customers to achieve their sustainability goals while maximizing the valuation of their retiring assets. In addition, this position will also evaluate customer opportunities as presented in, RFPs/RFQs or engagements, from the Services and Hardware Sales teams. The Sustainability Solution Analyst will be responsible for collaborating and communicating creative value recovery service proposals for customers to ensure their end-of-life Product is securely and environmentally dispositioned.

High Level Tasks

  • Support Sales and Customers in qualifying IT asset disposition services.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and Lenovo ITAD Vendors to develop a compliant, executable, and financially viable IT asset disposition solution.

  • Create Customer proposals.

  • Determine appropriate contract methods, create contract when required, and liaison between Customer and Lenovo legal until executed.

  • Challenge existing processes to ensure delivery of the best solution for the customer.

  • Maintain an up to date knowledge and understanding of certifications, technology, tools and toolsets in the IT asset disposition industry.

Position Requirements:

  • University degree preferred.

  • Experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrate understanding and experience of the ITAD (IT Asset Disposal) industry (3+ years’ experience in solution development, contract creation and negotiation, business development, project management and/or services operations)

  • Experience with electronic product end of life management.

  • Strong ability to produce, leverage and interpret big data sets and operationalize for decision making and actions.

  • Articulate and professional in both oral and written communication, as well as presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve desired result.

  • A winning mentality and approach to working with Sellers and Customers.

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.

  • Demonstrable success working in a multicultural, multinational environment preferred.

  • Proficient in English, any other language is an advantage.

  • Experience of creating and delivering internal and external communications (e.g., reporting).

  • Mature personality, able to work independently, strong sense of customer service.

  • A demonstrated ability and continuing desire to work under pressure, and aggressively attack tight deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks, tracking and reporting.

  • Ability to produce, leverage and interpret big data sets and operationalize for decision making.

  • Good working knowledge of standard business practices.
