Job Summary and Qualifications

High School diploma
Preferred
1 year food service experience
Preferred
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Licenses, Certifications, & Training:

Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire

The TriStar Food & Nutrition Patient Service Representative will be an experienced and competent professional who is responsible for obtaining food preferences, preparing, and distributing quality food and supplies to patients daily. This role will exemplify excellent customer service to all patients and employees. Will also create a positive environment within the department with a respectful attitude.

Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Management Plan.
Integrates ethics in all areas of practice. Adheres to confidentiality and patient’s rights policies.
Supports the facilities’ mission and values.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Specific Functions
Obtains patient menu preferences in accordance to dietary restrictions.
Prepares, delivers, and picks up patient meals in a timely manner.
Delivers, labels, and tracks nourishments and/or tube feedings as needed.
Performs duties as a shift supervisor within department.
What qualifications you will need:
- Food Handlers Permit, or Food Safety Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
