Talent Acquisition Manager, Early Talent Programs / Campus & Military Recruiting
The Talent Acquisition Manager, Early Talent Programs / Campus & Military Recruiting leads Niagara’s recruitment efforts in key strategic channels such as universities, colleges, technical schools, vocational schools, high schools, graduate schools, and with military partners to reach early career and transitioning career talent. Niagara currently offers internship, rotational training programs, apprenticeship programs, and entry-level full-time positions across the U.S. and Mexico.
The TA Programs leader champions sourcing, attracting and selecting early career and transitioning talent for Niagara’s 50 manufacturing plants and headquarters. You’ll directly lead a team, as well as work cross-functionally to plan and execute local and functional recruitment activities in collaboration with hiring leaders, TA team members, and Niagara team members. Partner closely with the Talent Management and Technical Training teams to ensure a positive onboarding and internship/training experience to help drive candidate conversion to full-time positions.
Essential Functions
Champion early-career and transitioning career talent pipeline development
Partner across TA, HR, and hiring leaders to develop our target hiring plan on an annual and ongoing basis
Develop internal and external communications to share TA programs and organizational updates
Partner across the HR team on overall talent strategies such as talent assessment, talent development, to contribute to overall talent pipeline development
Build and nurture early career and transitioning talent channels to reach our target talent pools
Research and recommend effective practices to reach talent including a mix of events, networking, outreach, digital marketing, partnerships, etc.
Establish relationships with external organizations such as core universities, student organizations, high schools, military bases, diversity sources, etc.
Champion the development and execution of a campus focused employer branding strategy in collaboration with Talent Acquisition Marketing team
Manage a seamless candidate experience journey to ensure Niagara is seen as an employer of choice
Partner with business leaders as a strategic talent advisor through effective communication, listening and influence to enable our hiring managers to make the right hires
Build relationships with our internal customers to understand business needs for yearly cohort hiring
Provide talent market insights and strategic advice on labor market and industry/university trends
Ensure our company is adept at selecting candidates for success within our fast-paced, rapidly growing team culture through effective interviewing techniques and assessment strategies
Lead change management and communication plans to obtain key stakeholder buy-in and ensure successful launches
Champion and enable our team’s capabilities to source, attract and select the right talent
Lead the end-to-end execution of the recruitment process from needs identification, strategy development, sourcing, attraction and selection, through to offer, always providing insights, recommendations and communication throughout
Enhance the skills and capabilities of our team in the areas of innovative practices in talent sourcing and talent selection
Create and manage success metrics for the team
Provide real-time feedback and development opportunities
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
6 Years – Experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or related field
6 Years – Experience working in position with strategic recruiting
4 Years – Experience leading and managing teams

Preferred Qualifications:
8 Years – Experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or related field
8 Years – Experience working in a position with strategic recruiting
6 Years – Experience leading and managing teams
Experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain organization
Experience with Workday Recruiter
International recruitment experience in Latin America, Asia, and/or Europe

Competencies
Experience with leading virtual teams

Experience planning and implementing large scale hiring events
Ability to produce program briefings and updates for stakeholders, scheduled and on request
Ability to analyze complex data and draw well-supported conclusions
Experience in behavioral based interviewing and assessment selection practices
Experience with applicant tracking systems and candidate sourcing channels
Experience transforming data into insights to develop actionable plans
Knowledge of US employment law
Effective communication, presentation and influence skills
Excellent relationship management and judgment skills

Education
Minimum Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Marketing or other related field
Preferred:
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development or other related field

Typical Compensation Range
Pay Rate Type: Salary
$130,380.85 - $189,052.24 / Yearly
Bonus Target: 10% Annual
