Sr. Supply Chain Planning Analyst, MRP

The Senior Supply Chain Planning Analyst, MRP is a key member of the Supply Chain Planning organization, responsible for supervising and leading a team of MRP analysts in maintaining site-level raw material supply continuity. This position leads the development of supply plans to deploy raw materials to a network of manufacturing facilities, ensuring that the team optimizes between cost and service.

Essential Functions

The Senior Supply Chain Planning Analyst, Materials Requirement Planning will:

  • Leads a team of Supply Chain Planning Analysts in developing site level supply plans

  • Develops the infrastructure to measure and manage key metrics:

  • Site receipt confirmation

  • Lead time to deployment

  • Supply chain expenditure

  • Supply continuity

  • Ensure that team communicates with all stakeholders in a timely manner

  • Review and plan for raw material production requirements within a 30 day window; establishes methods to scale requirements gathering for a growing network of sites

  • Development of site-specific and/or multi-site SKU specific inventory policies, inclusive of:

  • Safety stock

  • Operational stock

  • Replenishment cycle

  • Pallet position projections

  • Maintain planning tools to ensure systems execute on accurate planning and supply parameters

  • Develop processes to drive continuous improvement in MRP planning

  • Use of Excel, Oracle, and other systematic tools to make production and supply-related decisions

  • Maintain and manage a high standard of internal customer service. This person must effectively communicate with all operational stakeholders and resolve any production-critical tasks on a daily basis

  • Optimize total cost by maximizing shipment payload, minimizing expedite fees, and managing towards warehouse inventory targets

  • Monitor shifts in demand across the network and proactively adjust network raw material supply plans accordingly, ensuring supply continuity at all times. Must anticipate and communicate any updates or change in needs/constraints to Buyers, Production Planners, and Master Planners

  • Ensure that all necessary BOM changes are executed to support:

  • Use of correct raw materials

  • Depletion of raw materials

  • Consumption of promotional materials

  • Consumption of trial raw materials

  • Accurate consumption for financial reporting

  • Communicate any raw materials changes to Manufacturing stakeholders

  • Promptly resolve accounting-related issues and approvals. Follow up to ensure resolutions have been reached

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 Years – Experience in Purchasing, MRP, Procurement, Planning or similar function *experience may include a combination of work experience and education

    • Travels approximately 10%
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 Years– Experience in Purchasing, MRP, Procurement, Planning, or similar function

Education

  • Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance or Manufacturing

  • Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance or Manufacturing

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Salary

$95,301.00 - $138,186.00 / Yearly
