Detroit Diesel Corporation seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer Project Manager in Detroit, Michigan.
Job Duties: Lead ME Project for heavy duty engines. Evaluate and implement product changes to improve efficiency of the vehicle assembly process. Create and manage project timeline, budgets, and action item lists. Coordinate team members to achieve project milestones as required per CVDS. Implement new heavy duty engine processes and parts changes. Apply processes and standards to the needs and progress of projects. Identify shortfalls in projects or tasks and independently develop countermeasures, resolutions and implement effectiveness. Provide management with regular reports and presentations on project work plans and status for information and resource management purposes. Represent professionally the ME and actively participate in CVDS and PPR projects. Ensure regular communication and collaboration with the global ME team. Coach, mentor, and delegate to other team members.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 60 months of relevant experience. Must have Project Management experience and experience with Process Documentation using MCP system; Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and Lean Manufacturing; Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA). Must have experience with Microsoft Office Software.
