Job Overview

The primary function of the Parts Clerk is to maintain the parts room and parts / supply inventory.  This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Fleet Manager.

Primary Duties

  • Stocking shelves, stock rotation, restocking and stock relocation.

  • Receiving, shipping and transferring parts, components, materials and supplies.

  • Placing parts orders for stock and special orders.

  • Set up and maintain inventory in a ready state for use.

  • Parts physical Inventory.

  • Maintain and cleaning of parts room and parts warehouse.

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

  • Demonstrate professionalism; be courteous and friendly to customers and co-workers at all times.

  • Regular interaction with peers on-site, including face-to-face meetings and spontaneous conferences.

  • Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.

  • Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work.

  • Ability to effectively perform responsibilities under a high level of stress.

  • Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications/Experience/Education:

  • High school education and 1+ years of position related experience.

  • Computer Skills (Excel / Microsoft Word / Outlook).

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Pass pre-employment 7-year criminal background check.

  • Good interpersonal skills.
