HealthFitness is looking for a part-time Housekeeping Attendant to join the team at our Curtis L. Ivery Health and Wellness Education Center client site located in Detroit.
Housekeeping Attendant, Detroit, MI
20 hours per week & free membership!
In this position, you will be responsible for cleaning the floors, equipment, restrooms, steam rooms and locker rooms. You will also wash/dry laundry, fold towels, and perform other housekeeping services throughout the fitness center. Flexible schedule includes Saturdays 9AM-2PM & 2/3 evenings per week 2-8PM.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for cleaning, sanitation and maintenance in locker rooms, steam rooms and restrooms.
Maintain supplies and amenities throughout the club.
Clean and perform light maintenance on both the cardiovascular and fitness equipment.
Ensure that the free weight area is clean and weights are returned to their racks.
Wash, dry, fold, and replenish towels, member garments, cleaning rags, and mop heads. Lift and transport objects weighing over 25 pounds.
Assist with Service Desk duties.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ideal applicants will have 2+ years of prior facility housekeeping experience and a High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
