Essential Functions (Job Duties):

This position will serve as Chief of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension in the Department of Internal Medicine and will oversee the division in continuing medical education, research, and clinical care.

Duties are as follows: Participate in the teaching program of medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension.

Participate in research activities within the Department.

Publish peer-reviewed literature as author and co-author.

Participate in scholarly activities in the area of Nephrology and Hypertension.

Participate in service assignments of importance to the Department, the School of Medicine, and the University.

Qualifications:

M.D. or D.O. degree required.

Valid Michigan medical license required.

Board certification or eligibility required.

Rank commensurate with credentials.
