Essential functions (job duties):

The Department of Global Supply Chain Management at Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business is seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty position for 2024 academic year. Position requires a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain Management. Position also requires a Ph.D. dissertation in nonprofit supply management.

Job Duties:

Teach undergraduate & graduate courses in Supply Chain Management including Operations & Supply Chain Management (GSC 3600); Global Supply Chain Management (GSC 5620); Production Planning & Control (GSC 5680); Global Supply Chain Management (GSC 7620); & Global Operations & Supply Chain Management (BA 7010).

Advise students.

Conduct research in nonprofit supply management.

Publish results of research in peer-reviewed journals & present at professional conferences.

Qualifications:

Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain Management; and Ph.D. dissertation in nonprofit supply management
