Acadia Healthcare Admissions Specialist- RN- Monday through Friday weekend rotations in Detroit, Michigan
Description
Admissions Specialist will be responsible for coordinating admissions to the facility. The hours will be Monday - Friday 7am to 7:30pm Weekend Rotation
Reviewing referrals and admissions packets
Evaluates referral packets
Registering new patients, greeting family members
Communications with the discharge planner at referral hospitals
Completion of Admission Contracts
Supports patient care on the units and Admissions departments administratively
Job Requirements
Must be licensed in the state of Michigan as a Registered Nurse
2 years of experience working in Admissions in a healthcare setting; preferably psychiatric setting or structured outpatient program
Must be able to work the hours indicated
