Acadia Healthcare Admissions Specialist- RN- Monday through Friday weekend rotations in Detroit, Michigan

Description

Admissions Specialist will be responsible for coordinating admissions to the facility. The hours will be Monday - Friday 7am to 7:30pm Weekend Rotation

  • Reviewing referrals and admissions packets

  • Evaluates referral packets

  • Registering new patients, greeting family members

  • Communications with the discharge planner at referral hospitals

  • Completion of Admission Contracts

  • Supports patient care on the units and Admissions departments administratively

Job Requirements

  • Must be licensed in the state of Michigan as a Registered Nurse

  • 2 years of experience working in Admissions in a healthcare setting; preferably psychiatric setting or structured outpatient program

  • Must be able to work the hours indicated
