Job Summary Central Washington University is recruiting a Student Services Specialist to join our University Centers team in Des Moines, Washington. The part-time role is a campus-based position with occasional travel to other centers (mainly Pierce county), which means you get to see the lives you are impacting. Learn more: Benefits, Perks, and Leave. The Role: With the Regional Director, the Student Services Specialist provides opportunities for CWU students to expand their leadership capacity. This position is responsible for supervision of student staff and coordination of Centers' programming at CWU-Des Moines and CWU-Pierce County. This position works closely with the Regional Director of Des Moines to determine programmatic goals, learning outcomes, and evaluation measures. Progress to program goals will be reviewed during weekly meetings. The Student Life Resource Manager must also be capable or working independently as they will have significant influence in deciding how the Westside Centers' goals are to be achieved. This position will regularly interact and collaborate with other Student Success, Academic and Administrative Offices, outside agencies, students and the general public. This position will also represent the Westside Centers on a regular basis during campus and community events. Job Duties Coordination of Westside Center Programming: - Provide programs to facilitate students' overall student development and leadership training through the Westside Centers' various programs, events, activities and academic partnerships, and services programs. Regionals and independently engage in: - Advising and facilitating students' leadership development and training on an on-going basis. - Developing, planning, implementing and evaluating all the Westside Centers' programming: leadership, student development, service and academic based programs and/or any innovative programs that the Centers' Regional Directors plans to implement for the future development and learning of all of the Centers' students. - Acting as liaison to Westsi
