Bolton & Menk, Inc. is continuing to grow and is now hiring aSenior Transportation Project Engineer (PE)to join our Transportation team. In this role you will support and lead design teams on transportation planning, design and construction reviews in connection with a wide range of multi-disciplined projects involving various aspects of highway/roadway/drainage design, safety studies, multi-modal roadway planning, transit design, site civil design, and design reviews.This role will work closely with our Project Managers with current project requirements and planning future projects, as well as mentoring and developing a team to help strengthen their transportation knowledge and skills.

What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) for the State of Iowa.
Ideally candidates will have a minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in the transportation engineering field.
Exceptional understanding and knowledge of how specialized fields (i.e. planning, landscape architecture, environmental documentation, engineering applications for water resources, structures, municipal, traffic, construction and others) align with the highway project development process.
Candidates must be willing to lead in a team environment and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
Candidates must enjoy mentoring junior-level staff and welcomes being mentored for professional development.
Possess a valid driver’s license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required.
