Description
MAIN FUNCTION: Provides secretarial support to the Division of Nursing and assists the Office Supervisor in all secretarial duties as requested.
Job responsibilities include:
Collection, verification and filing of the Nursing licensure process
Tracking and filing performance evaluations, performance improvement and unit reports
Ordering and maintaining office supplies including all forms required for the division
Distributes incoming mail to appropriate parties
Complies statistical data for Division of Nursing, i.e., staffing ratios, NCH, Acuity level and prepares reports on a monthly basis.
Coordinates materials, meeting dates, notices and secretarial support for all assigned committees and special task forces including Shared Governance
Prepares and tracks all PAFs for job changes within the Division
Coordinates the hospital 2-day Planetree Retreat which includes scheduling employees, tracking attendance, coordination of meeting rooms, hotel arrangements, dining arrangements, arrangement of complimentary therapies, handout preparation, and ordering of any other items needed.
Responsible for the maintenance of divisional policies/procedures and prepares these and other materials related to the operation of the division
Maintains a role on the “Nurse Week” Committee and provides support
Reviews, supports, abides by and encourages Patient Satisfaction and Confidentiality Standards for the division.
