Aerotek Service Technician in Denver, North Carolina

Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

We are a privately held Italian company that designs, manufactures, and services Commercial Ovens, Kitchen Equipment, and Cooking Systems. Our Denver, NC location is a new facility dedicated to service operations. A new building for production will be operational by the end of the year or Q1 of next year, bringing all fridge assembly in-house. Currently, all components are shipped from Italy.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot all electrical issues for ovens over the phone.

  • Assist customers by walking them through troubleshooting processes using available ovens outside the call center.

  • Dispatch service technicians to customer sites if issues cannot be resolved over the phone.

  • Respond to telephone calls, email, and web requests for technical support.

  • Handle hotline support, dispatch breakdown service, and installations.

  • Follow up on dispatched services to ensure timely completion and perform after-hours hotline support.

  • Assist the service team with managing and developing Service Agents throughout all regions.

  • Plan and achieve service team goals and objectives.

  • Provide communication back to Service Agents on performance to ensure appropriate actions in meeting customer needs.

  • Address complaints and resolve problems in a timely manner, ensuring professional customer service.

  • Ensure inventory is operational and available for sale or training.

  • Authorize warranty service and approve service agent warranty invoice approvals.

  • Stay current on industry performance standards, best practices, trends, and service levels.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in 3-phase power and electronics technology troubleshooting.

  • Experience with gas systems is a plus.

  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, blueprint reading, wiring, and field service.

  • Knowledge of AC/DC motors, 3-phase systems, and schematics.

  • Skills in electrical repair, test equipment usage, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.

  • Mechanical and electronics skills.

  • Ability to use hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds.

  • Sense of urgency.

  • Accountability and ownership.

Work Environment

The work environment is an indoor, climate-controlled facility. Our brand-new building offers a comfortable and modern workspace. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
